N47 timing chain replacement

N47 diesels (especially 2007–2011 1 Series and 3 Series) can suffer stretched timing chains and failed guides — the tell-tale is a rattle on cold start and cam/crank correlation faults. We replace chain, guides and tensioner as a set.

N54 HPFP and VANOS

N54 petrol engines are known for high-pressure fuel pump failure (long crank, misfire, low-pressure codes). VANOS solenoids on N-series and B-series engines cause rattles, rough idle and power loss. We test on ISTA before replacing.

B58 / B48

The later B58 and B48 engines are generally strong, but we still see oil-filter-housing gasket leaks, electric water-pump / thermostat failures and VANOS-related codes. We pressure-test and confirm the source before any strip-down.
